What is the jelly-like substance in cells also called cytosol?

The cytoplasm, or cell fluid, is made up of a jelly-like substance (cytosol) and within that, the organelles. The organelles are the cell's organs. 
The cytoplasm is often colourless and is surrounded by the cell membrane which keeps the contents within the cell
